FoodFight: Combating Childhood Obesity Through Education and Advocacy

FoodFight is a NYC based nonprofit charged with revolutionizing the way teenagers think about food and its role in their lives.  Using schools as a platform, we design, implement and evaluate nutrition education curriculum that focuses attention on critical concepts of media literacy, food politics and consumership.  Our goal is to inspire a new generation of high school students to claim their power as consumers to make healthier eating and buying decisions and demand healthier alternatives for themselves and their communities.
